What do you really like about yourself?

I was just looking trough some of the gorgeous photos on this site and it got me thinking of how diverse and including the pin-up style really can be. Slim girls, shapy girls, short, tall, I think you're all gorgeous.

But then again I know alot of you work as models and are probably constantly reminded of those areas that need some special attention and has to worry about how you look all the time. Some of you might be from small places where your style might be too extravagant and have to ignore people frowning at the way you choose to look. A low self-image seem to haunt so many beautiful girls these days.

So I wanted us to get a little supportive and allow room for a little self-love. What do you actually like about yourselves? I've come to the decition that I like my teeth. The are slightly crooked and I think it brings character to my face, since I'm rather averge-looking. I've also come to appriciate the little curves I have, mostly thanks to amazing girls rocking them around the globe. Both of these things I didn't like before. How about you?

hmm, now i would like to say that its not being narcissictic this one time, lol. so umm,
i love my hair-because its curly, and big, and dark, and shiny.
and i love my curves- because they just fit me
and i love my teeth- because ive never had braces, and when i smile its always a huge grin.
how i smile with my eyes- thats what people say, so it makes me happy
my voice- i love my singing voice and im soooo blessed to be able to sing like i do
my clavicles- because they're my granmothers, and im soo glad i inherited them from her.

i could keep going, but im going to stop, lol.

but i agree, its always good to think about the things you love about yourself, especially after those moments when someone tells you you arent good enough for something, or you need to change something about yourself.

Great idea for a thread.. it's really easy to pick out the things you don't like about yourself.. Not so easy to find the things you love...

I love my eyes.. They are super green, and my eyelashes are crazy long and thick.
I love my shape.. I'm small and thin, but I've still got my "motherly" curves, aka big booty.. ;)
I love my legs.. this is new, I used to hate them, but my boyfriend tells me everytime he can see them, that they are amazing, and it's starting to rub off on me!
I also love my skin.. I am ridiculously pale, like ghostly... but I think its great!

Quite honestly I find it a bit hard to find things I love about myself. People always tell me I have a great smile, so I suppose that's one thing. I have never been a fan of my body, but as time goes by, the more I learn to like it. I'm still not completely comfortable with it, but someday soon I hope.

I LOVE this discussion.

Sometimes I do need to be reminded that loving myself, and certain parts of myself is not being narcissistic and that I don't always need to be modest.

With that out of the way, I DO enjoy my curves, especially my boobs. I like my arms, especially now they're inked. I can even love my little moles, because my artist was careful to work her way around each one and they're not even noticeable.

Like others have said its nice to find bits you like!
31 years and 2 kids later I probably like my body more than I ever did before (even though its been in better shape, especially before the kids)!

I like my Hazel eyes best, always have.
I like the way they smile, I am a smiley person.
Got a nice shapely legs and dainty feet.
Love my boobs, though getting tops to fit can be a challenge!
My wrists, my shoulders, my tattoos....
As far as the rest of me goes I've seen better and I've seen worse, not bad over all I guess!!

I love my nose...I used to hate it and it was such a touchy subject for me..I always felt like a little goblin.

Now I'm a freakin' Goblin Queen!

And I agree...there is always at least one thing that makes a person oh-so-charming...whether it be their pretty eyes, or the twinkle within them!

I love my eyes - I have to wear glasses, but wear contacts when I can to show them off. I always get comments on them when I do that. I love my pale but freckled skin. I love my smile. I'm learning to love my curves, because my girl is teaching me.

What a great topic!! Beauty is much more then a pretty face and a size 2 waist, it comes in all shapes and sizes and I wish more people in the world appreciated that. :)

I have always been curvy my whole life, and they came when I was in 9th grade. I always got made fun of for being "fat" and having "HUGE boobs." Girls would constantly tell me...."did you have a baby? Your hips look like you did." High school can be so rough. I never let it phase me...I have always embraced my curves!
