As many of us are, I'm trying to lose weight and get healthy. I'd like to be able to walk up two flights of stairs without being out of breath, who wouldn't right? But one of my biggest problems is not holding myself accountable. I start off well, but tend to lose momentum after a week or two. So this morning, as i was reading Honey Hooligans blog on weight loss, I thought to myself, I should do this too. This is a great way to keep yourself honest. However, I don't blog, lol. I never have. But I DO spend 95% of my internet time on PL, so I thought, why not start a thread! 

So here is it, I'm putting my self out here for you fine folks to see. What better way to keep myself motivated then by posting up my progress for all my friends to see. If I fail, you'll all know it. And I will be HELLA embarrassed. 

So read if you want, comment if you want, or ignore if you want. More then anything I'm hoping that this will be the thing that works!

*Edit: if you are trying to lose weight as well, please, start your own post! It will be great to see everyones goals and progress. We all deserve to lose weight and get healthy, don't we also deserve our own threads?!? Just use the same title and change it to your name!!

Total net cals: 986 (I know this is really low, it was a weird day, but I did eat 3 good meals, they were just very low in calories)

Sunday 2/14

Today was a bad bad bad day! Valentines day was all about good food, including my favorite brunch at my favorite hotel. I have no guilt, because I know I'll be back on track tomorrow)
Hey Diva! Keep up the great work.. and btw, food has no calories on Valentine's Day! I did pretty good this weekend to... the detox went well. Have a great week!

2 week update time!

I've been doing pretty well, last week I went over because of Valentines day, but this week I've stayed under my weekly cals.

So here's the stats:

2 week Stats:
Size: 16
Weight: 202 *down 3 lbs*
Bicep (flexed) 13 1/2
Bust 43 *down 1 inch*
Under bust 36 *down 1 inch*
Natural Waist 36 *down 2 inches*
Belly Button 41
Hips 46
Butt 48
Thigh 24 *down 1 1/2 inches*

Over all loss:

3lbs

5 1/2 inches

You are doing AWESOME! I keep falling off the wagon a week in! You made it to week two ANd lost weight and inches!!!! You ROCK! I have used mycaloriecounter.com as a food & fitness journal and it calculates how many calories you have burned. Keep Going Roxy!

I will start a thread too I just need to dig up my measuring tape!
Thank you so much! I use lose it for the iphone. I like it better because it's always at my finger tips. I know you can do it too! Now get that tape measure!!!

Alright, after thinking about it for a while I have decided to change my goals a bit.

I now have NO long term goal. That's right, none! I realized I have no idea what I'm going to look like in 10 lbs or 20 lbs. At a size 14 or a size 7. So how can I set a long term goal? My new plan is to play it by ear, really look at my self during this journey, and when I get to a place where I am happy. Stop. When I LOVE how I look, that is when I'll have met my goal. And I don't think it's that far away, because I like how I look now, I just want to tone it all up a bit.

My other goal change is I'm not going to use events as my "goal dates". They are far to sporadic to be a good way to judge. So from now on it will be a monthly goal.

March goal:
Lose 10 lbs.
Lose 3-4 inches (in all major areas)

And..... GO!
Yeah, if you are toning up and losing inches, a weight loss goal is kind of pointless! I still have my ultimate goal of 160 since I am 5'8", but being in better shape will make me happier. I am just a little less than I was in 2006, but my measurements are inches smaller due to the activity I do now.

Good for you Roxy. When you get to where you feel your best then you are at your goal. You always look great. From that point on its about staying fit and healthy. And we all will have those not so good days, necessary for happiness I like to believe.
Heck yeah. Sometimes the gym and veggies make you happy, sometimes it's taco bell and red vines. Everything in moderation!

So no weight loss, and my chest got bigger. Funny that. I blame too much taco bell, gonna have to work on that... But I did lose 4 inches total around my middle, so thats good!

Gonna have to work harder the next two weeks.
