Hello! and I need some help!

Wow, what a great site! I am so happy to find others out there like me and then some! I am still fumbling around with the pages, so, please forgive me.

Anyhow, I really need some help. I am new to cosmetology. I changed fields from being in the kitchen and bath design field for some 14 years, so this is really different for me. I am graduating from my school in a month and a half with some excellent cutting skills, but little styling skills. Sounds really funny, but it's true. I have my share of modern styles under my belt, but it's the vintage ones that I really want to learn more about. I have books, but they are books to help me along.

I would like to know if anyone out there there knows how I can meet people or someone that I could possible work under that reside in the Ocala or Tampa areas. I would be so greatful! Thanks! Tori

You can use the advanced search to find people in your area. I would leave them a comment, I'm sure you can find some people to work with you.

Also, a great idea is to watch tutorials on youtube, and then practice on your friends.

I second this, search for people local to you and see who wants some free work done! get some photos of the finished product, and post 'em here! ;)
