As many of us are, I'm trying to lose weight and get healthy. I'd like to be able to walk up two flights of stairs without being out of breath, who wouldn't right? But one of my biggest problems is not holding myself accountable. I start off well, but tend to lose momentum after a week or two. So this morning, as i was reading Honey Hooligans blog on weight loss, I thought to myself, I should do this too. This is a great way to keep yourself honest. However, I don't blog, lol. I never have. But I DO spend 95% of my internet time on PL, so I thought, why not start a thread! 

So here is it, I'm putting my self out here for you fine folks to see. What better way to keep myself motivated then by posting up my progress for all my friends to see. If I fail, you'll all know it. And I will be HELLA embarrassed. 

So read if you want, comment if you want, or ignore if you want. More then anything I'm hoping that this will be the thing that works!

Hey Doll! I am Soooo In! Let's hold each other accountable and swap some weightloss tips and tricks! I had been doing so good until this week. So Monday starts a new day and I am back on track! Let's do it together!
The goal: (short term) Lose 15 lbs

The date: VLV

Beginning Stats:
Size: 16
Weight: 205 (ouch)
Bicep (flexed) 13 1/2
Bust 44
Under bust 37
Natural Waist 38
Belly Button 41
Hips 46
Butt 48
Thigh 25 1/2

Wow, that was hard to type. Can you see how red I am through the computer? LOL

The Plan:
-Eat 1460 calories a day. This is my number for losing 2 lbs a week.
-Workout, in some way, every day.
-Eat more Whole, less processed, food.
-Eat less fast food! That s*** is bad for you, who would have guessed!!
-Drink at least 80oz (or ten glasses) of water a day.

Ok, that's it I think.... wish me luck!!!

Homemade breakfast sandwich 240
Applesauce cup 50
Spinach & Shrimp 287
Jambalaya in a bread bowl 530
Babybell light cheese 50

Total Calories for the day: 1277 (158 under!!! woohoo)

Didn't work out today, it was a lazy Sunday.
COUNT ME IN ROXY! I am trying to loose weight before VLV as well. I would like to loose 50 pounds total, but 20 for VLV. I signed up on www.myfitnesspal.com. You can track your caloric intake for free and its really easy. Not to mention it made me realize why I am overweight when I saw how many calories the things I was eating were. Ya, my 955 calorie Cold Stone the other night...no bueno. I am going to post ]\=][';p/a "progress report" of sorts on my page and welcome any comments. Even the comments I don't want to hear. Good luck girl! Can't wait to meet you at VLV and show off our "BANGING BODS"! <3

I have had some good luck with tracking my stuff with an auto calorie counter plus there are forums and articles on www.sparkpeople.com for an extra resource.
Best of luck to you guys, its a ongoing struggle to not drink coke and cut all the junkfood OUT with me . But recently I have been going to Fresh and Easy and they make it alot easier to eat healthy & there prices are not bad. Also when I eat out I like to visit Souplantation fresh salads and soups. Join there club veg on there site and they will send you buy one get one free coupons. Hope this helps a bit.. oh BTW 205 is not bad, sounds perfect in my book.....lol..

Be careful with soup plantation their pre made salads and most the soups pack tons of calories you can find calorie counts online though :) I used thedailyplate.com to track my excercise and diet and boy did it help I lost a TON of weight but still need to loose a few more pounds. Good luck everyone I am right there with ya ;)
