How can a 17 year old girl start pinup modeling?

I absolutely have been obsessed with and infatuated with everything vintage and pinup for as long as I can imagine. I have always wished to model but I don't think I'm the prettiest in the world and I definitely am not the skinniest. I do however have the confidence to model. How do I start out modeling when I don't have many clothes that are clothes you can model in?

hire your favorite photographer..I know a lot of us have wardrobe already..I've been collecting for this reason, and that I buy the stuff I'd like to shoot..It's up to the model if she wants to wear it or not.

Being skinny has nothing to do with it..I could shoot the most beautiful girl in the world, but if she has not a clue as to what she's doing the photos aren't going to be as good as they can be..
