Viva Las Vegas 2010!

I could have sworn we used to have a thread dedicated to VLV....but I don't see it anymore. If this should be somewhere else feel free to move it.....

So, is anyone else already preparing???? Who's getting excited already? It's about 4 months away and as we all know that is gonna FLY by. 4 months really isn't that long if you really think about it.

We booked our room at the Orleans and are gonna book tickets hopefully within the next month or so. We have also started saving for the trip and for a new front suspension for our 54 Chevy, which we plan on driving to VLV from Tucson.

I haven't bought any clothes yet, but I have picked up a few accessories and small things that I have stashed away for the trip. I have also made a shopping list for Sephora and MAC for VLV makeup.

Anyone else as nutty as me? :)

Hey there! My husband and I are going to VLV for our belated honeymoon...and we don't know anybody going yet. (not many Rockabilly people in Fort Collins, Co) I'm so excited though, we got our reservations at the Orleans too and I'm drooling over some new clothes for the trip...I'm gonna try to sew some things to save a dime...might cost extra if I mess up.
Anyhow, I heard that the hotel has a bowling alley...I want to find some other people and go bowling...interested?

Oh, don't even worry about not knowing anyone. There have been some years he have loads of friends (that we already know outside of VLV) go....then some years it was just us going. We ended up meeting some really cool folks during those times that we still keep in touch with, and that are now part of our VLV every year. If you are outgoing and love to listen to some good music, have some cocktails, just BS and have a good time, trust me you'll make friends.

You have tons of friends going, everyone from here!! We'll be doing a PL meet up at some point in the weekend, and can't wait to get to know everyone we haven't met yet.

I guess I should really get started planning, good call on this thread to get people motivated. Time to start planning those outfits....
