Photgraphy tips for a pin up shoot

I'm doing a fun pin up shoot this Sun. Does anyone have any photography tips?

Remember that in many cases, Cheesy is good when it comes to pinup!

Tips.... so much to say (and if I listened to my own advice I think I'd be a much better photographer.) I think having a story is the most important part and mentally posing the model rather than physically posing the model is key-- acting out a scene, contemplating an idea, feeling, or situation is the best way to produce an engaging genuine expression.

Some simple technical advice-- direct the model's face toward and the body away from the primary light source is a great general rule to follow.

Make sure to post your pix after the shoot.

Thank you so much for your helpful tips jim j. narcy! I have had this pinup shoot in my head for a while now and I am so glad to have a better idea on how I'm going to photograph my model.
