Oh I've been active in the BDSM scene for many many decades,attending the very first fetish party in Toronto in I guess it was yikes around 1987? (I knew I was very different from others at age 5 even!) I have been hosting a bi monthly dungeon play party in Toronto for 10 years now, also hosting private play parties in studios.

well, nice to know more about you Master Balam. I havn't been playing quite so long. but I do participate in all of the social bdsm activities i can afordably and my relationship at home is very active as a switch cupple .
I love living in the bay area with all of the great street fairs for the community and great suppliers like Mr. S and stormy leather. I probably noticed for sure that I was different , about middle school when I saw an HBO doc on doms. I was in love and tryed it out, hee. none of my explorations worked because no one was into it but me. but luckily i have found my perfect partner, inside bdsm and outside! feel free to add discussions here. happy spankings!

No dear, you're not the only one. Just an example: I used to run my own business and one of the seminars I taught was BDSM 101. I easily got frustrated with the vanilla crowd because of their lack of interest in things like "SAFETY" They just wanted to watch me string up the lot of them. I'm not lifestyle anymore because my wonderful husband likes to play, but doesn't like it too intense. But there are some things you still yearn for...

Yeah, we have couple very big things against 24/7. 1) a preteen around 2) my husband is sick with something called CIDP and it has affected our sexlife. 3) I'm not sure he could keep it up as a lifestyle. I used to have a separate top for things like this so I could still scene, but he has since moved away. So, I take it when I can get it from the hubby...which is a kind of torture unto itself. LOL!

so you sub? Would your hubby have a prob with you getting involved with a dom if it was strictly for the power exchange , you know without 'sex'. that might could be a way for you to release that craving and still be faithful to your hubby. i know cupples who have one person into bdsm, one not and the one into it just sees a dom/sub and engages in it without intercorse and still has that part of them fulfilled. just an idea sorry if i crossed the line.

We've actually discussed it before. He would probably let me. Because, I do pretty much whatever I want. But, personally I think it would cause stress on the relationship. Me doing whatever I want...isn't always healthy for me or my loved ones. Maybe someday we'll be able to explore more frequently. In the meantime, I'll take what I can get.

I agree 100% ! even though we may think we are open minded enough to do that for our partners, it can still create a tension that can be avoided. so I totaly get it!

I was into the scene about 3 almost 4 years back,
I had a mistress too light handed for me and had lots of trouble
understanding her wants. we parted and have had trouble finding
the correct Mistresses.

I photograph fetish but up to this point it has been for art not profit,
I feel that the photos are too intimate to post or upload even though
I have consent to do so.

Im a very laid back sort and been wanting to get further into things
but find Im too shy lol.
