It's an amazing resource for photographers and ALL TYPES of models alike.

As a model OR photographer you can search by location, shoot type, etc and FIND A SHOOT NEAR YOU. Not only that, but A LOT of these shoots are TFP and TFCD because they get a free model and you get a free shoot. It's one of the few places you can get TFCD work without already having made a name for yourself.

The only problem is that hair and makeup is not always provided, but this makes the site a great opportunity for MAKEUP ARTISTS to find shoots where hair and makeup aren't provided and contact the photographers or models and offer up the skills.

HOWEVER, they will only allow to set up an account if you have PROFESSIONAL shots.

But what I love about this site is that everyone has a shared interest in Pin Up and the culture that goes with it.

I'm on MM as well! I don't know what the MM moderators consider "professional" in their eyes, but I have to guess from some of the sleazy profiles I've seen that they don't turn down anyone. The casting calls in the Denver area are mostly "18+" with some GWC who insists on TONED (all caps) models and thinks he's (well, usually a he) avant-garde because he shoots nudes on a tire swing or something. I have NOT been impressed. Still, I keep a profile there, so I must have hope. ;)

MM is great for networking to get started or when you travel. I recently hit up a photog in New Orleans while I was there. Without the site I wouldn't have had any connections... I've also made some great connections for the next time I head home to Arizona. You do have to beware the "artistic nudes" people though...

However, this site is great for networking with people who think like us and everyone here seems genuine...

I also love how many burlesque girls are here, it's a new group of people for me. I've always been a bellydancer who wished she could do burly-q!
