The importance of research
Hi everyone!
I've been looking at a bunch of submissions for the Bettie contest. There are some great ones I must say! Some of you did an excellent job. However, there was one that got my attention. Darla Crane. I really am curious to know if that is actually embodying the spirit of Bettie?
The shot was incredible, the outfit dead on, but the picture wasn't of Bettie. Which brings me to my point and artist criticism. If you emulate someone, don't you have to emulate them from an original source? Which also makes me wonder... if someone had wanted to win wouldn't they research more? Girls please research your material. It just makes people look incredibly stupid when you don't.

Are you talking about the Contest? Please specify which one doesn't have betty as the inspirational image? All are required to do so and we hand approve them.
