Scorpions in my bed!!!!!

today was absolutely horrid! it was really early and time to feed my baby girl my hubby and i have an agreement, he changes the diaper and i feed her, so we were just doing our normal routine, well she sleeps in the same bed with us in a co-sleeper and he got her out of it to change her. as i was straightening out my pillow to get ready to feed her via boob, i felt a sharp stinging sensation on the neck part of my thumb, it didn't feel like i had just hit something kinda sharp, it felt like i had been bitten or something, so my first reaction and thought was "oh my goodness, it's a spider!!!!" i yanked my pillow up in search for it, and i couldn't find anything until my eyes looked over her co-sleeper. there it was a big nasty scorpion cozied up in bed with me, i shot up out of bed freaking out, "i got stung! i got stung! it's a scorpion!!!" this has never happened to me before so i had no idea if i was allergic or what, so many thoughts raced through my mind, what if i am, or what if the venom gets in my breast milk and hurts babygirl, then i thought "Oh My God, babygirl could've been stung!" luckily she had not, thank God. my husband took his pocket knife right to the creepy crawler and i kid you not it was near impossible to kill. i went to the doctor and thankfully i wasn't allergic, they said it had venom but nowhere near enough to be able to hurt me or transfer to my breast milk. all day i have been thinking about it, i keep seeing that creepy ugly thing. i am scared to go to bed, i'm afraid i might wake up with a family of them. what bugs me the most is that i have absolutely no control over something like this, like it could've really hurt my child, her grandpa is deathly allergic to them and what if she had inherited that allergy. super scary. i am so exhausted it happened way way early so i am feeding off of only a few hours of sleep and i am so scared to lay in my bed thinking i might relive this morning. arggggg! i hate creepy crawlies!
