The first bubblegum was developed and released in 1911 by Keegan C. Marr, but didn't turn pink until the 20's when it was released as a "Blow Gum"
Dubble Bubble was the first "non-stick" bubble gum, and was developed my Gilbert Mustin to be a bubble gum that wouldn't stick to your face after blowing a bubble.
