Eyebrows

I always look at people's eyebrows, especially on girls, and I appreciate many types. I'll admit I have a good amount of eyebrow envy. First when I was younger I had to deal with the realization that unibrows weren't the "in" thing (whatever with that :-), but now i'm just facing having no clue what to do with them at all.

It's an important facial decision. Thick, thin, shaved, curved, arched, straight, natural, et cetera, et cetera? I'm a very visual person so I figure this shouldn't be so darned hard, just look at my face and see what the brows naturally lend themselves to. But I do, and I have no freakin idea! One's been hacked off at the end by the scar tissue left over from a defunct piercing and both of them bore me to tears. Every time I take the tweezers to them in an effort to sculpt a masterpiece, I at best end up with relatively nice brows for a day. But still, no style.

I love so many different brows I see and I want to just plant them above my eyes, but I'm stuck with what I got. S***, where's the eyebrow fairy when you need one!

Sigh. I wish my eyebrows arched like Delyssia's, but I have a plain ol' generic curve. Still, I want to bestow baked goods upon the lovely gals who periodically wax them for me! They do much better work than I've ever been able to master through years of tweezing.

i pluck ever so thin and draw them on no stencil lol but relatively nice each time and i cannot commit to eyebrow tattooing either, and i to have an eyebrow scar, peircing as well. lame i know but it is the ultimate question....

I gave up on having perfect arches when I realised that my abject laziness and lack of commitment outweighed my desire to look, well, "arch" on a daily basis. I know that's something of a sin around these parts ;D but one has to make peace with one's flaws! So I wait for the eyebrow fairy too, and her cousin, the perky boobies fairy.

Oh girl, do I ever know your dilemma!! I used to make fun of my cousin bc she plucked all her brows out & penciled them in. Then, one day I had the brilliant notion to "thin" mine out. That was back in HS, over 10+yrs & I still can't get em right. I've tried stencils, I've tried letting them grow out. I've contemplated tattooing them.... But, alas, I can't commit. I will cont to long for those beautiful, masterfully arched brows, just like Miss Delyssia LaBelle's or Rosetta Garcia's. If you ever come across that eyebrow fairy, please send her my afterwards!!
