Are you kidding me? (and) Reallly? Nine years? Is that all?

I ran into someone I haven't seen in a while and even though I had a million more important things I wanted to say to them I end up sputtering out: "So, we're cool, right?"

"So, we're cool, right?" ???? Are you KIDDING me?????? I wanted to kick my own ass right then and there. If only they could have seen the imaginary hand slapping my forehead. I cringed as soon as the words ran out of my mouth. UGGHH. Who knows when I will get another opportunity to talk to them and I come up with that dribble? IDIOT. Hopefully they know me well enough to realize I think more of them then to just be wondering if "we're cool" or not and will give me another chance to say REAL things.


On a completely different note.....


I have now been married NINE years. It feels like a lot longer than that.
