I'm Back and Better than ever...!!!

So back on Thanksgiving, Someone stole my car while I was cooking Thanksgiving Dinner. Then Bettie Page died. I felt like I needed a breather because I thought it was me. Turns out, the worlds just crazy like that!

Thank You, Bettie Page

I learned Friday the Bettie Page Died. I actually took this news so hard that I was mostly unable to write about her and chose not to think of it, as a way of dealing with this loss. Even now, days later, I feel tears fill into the wells of my eyes. I think, for the most part, it is the lack of happiness that she faced, that is the part that saddens me the most. What am I doing in Chicago

I hate the cold. But I live in Chicago. Born and raised actually. My friend tried to convince me to move to Vegas with her as a means of escaping the windy city. But I turn down every chance



Dont get me wrong. There are really great things about Chicago. The Lakefront. Deep Dish Pizza. Theatre (jERSEY bOYS is wildly popular, here) Even my great neighbor hood, Wicker Park. But I wanna see what else it out there.

Ode to my IUD

I sit here, very satisfied from the Thanksgiving Dinner I spent all day preparing and I realize my appreciation for $500 insurance policy I have purchased for myself.

My Burlesque Apprenticeship

I used to spend a lot of my time with my grandmother because she was a housewife and she babysit me, especially in the summer when school was out. Okay so I am wondering where are all the Windy City (Chicago Based) Pinup Girls? Fans? Stylists? Makeup Artists? Clothing Designers? Accessories Makers? I think we should have some kind of networking Get-together. I would love to see who here would attend. Would you guys attend if it was at a bar like a social mixer and we met and exchanged business cards or whatever. I don't mind organizing it. I'm curious would participate if I did.
