I am unbelievably unlucky... I have a horrible virus on my computer.. and am in the process of recovering my files and photos, and will be hopefully getting a new business computer this week.. I am sorry.. but.. I could have made her a MUCH more attractive custom dress for MUCH less.. That thing was unattractive and would've made anyone look frumpy. It was NOT a knock off of Nancy Reagan's gown.. it was just an overdone mistake. Something that is going into the Smithsonian that reflects our 44th president's wife, our generation, our sensibility.. and it looks like that.

NEW STUFF!! I have had some extra time on my hands, and actually completed what i think to be my first two pieces of my upcoming 'catalog' ... WOO!! I have a super cute made to order petticoat, and I even experimented with a few dresses..... I'm not ready to unveil, but soon... sooooooooon.... ;)

I had so much fun.. and as i thought, noone knew what I was.. it was really dark in the bar.. I got "elvira" alot.. i've never seen elvira look like this.. but i guess some people did!! I finished! I was sick the past 3 days, and stayed home from work.. and yesterday felt well enough to get out of bed and sew my fingers off! I finally finished my costume.. t turned out EXACTLY as I hoped!!

Last night i worked for 6 hours straight on my corset.. with AMAZING results.. I am so excited for this costume to come together.. I took only 2 pictures.. one of the first layer and the second of the 'scales' sewn on.. I would love some feedback.. but keep in mind, it isn't finished.. I just wanted to post progress picks.. i still have to do the edges, the lacing, the eyelets, the details.. etc... so you're looking at the base of my creature.

I am making my Halloween Costume tonight!! I had to go through 4 fabric stores before I found the PERFECT material.. A dark green alligator scaled PVC coated polyester.. sounds gross I know.. but Oh when it hits my sewing machine, it will be MAGIC! I want to be able to post pics as soon as I m finished!!
