Hey, I'm Ruby Rockit! I live in Austin, TX and I am a burlesque dancer with Red Light Burlesque, part time pin up, and full time hairstylist and make up artist at Salon Bloom.

I'm having a baby girl in February!

So some of you know, but for the most part I haven't been on the internet that much so for those of you who don't know- we're having a baby in February!  Super excited that it's a little girl too!  So far everything has gone pretty smooth so we are now just waiting!  I plan on returning to modeling and performing after I take a little time off to be with the baby, so maybe next summer.  I'll keep ya posted! Part of my New Year's resolution is to be better about updating my pages and stay in…

Not dancing too much this summer...

So I've decided not to take on too many burlesque gigs this summer. After a very busy spring (both at my salon and on the stage) I need a little break to focus on my family and have some time to recharge creatively! Not totally taking a break but just slowing down a bit

So I guess 2010 is going to be a busy year for me already! I've started producing my own shows at The Highball here in Austin, which is a first for me! The Christmas show exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be happier. I've never put shows on before , but I felt like there was a lack of high quality burlesque show at nice venues. So far it's been super successful, and I hope it keeps going strong! I'm super excited about moving to a new salon as well, it's giving me so much more freedom… Continue

10/2- Alamo Drafthouse Lake Creek- Bettie Page Tribute Show followed by "Varitease and Teasorama" shown on the big screen!



10/13 Alamo Ritz- Dolls From the Crypt will be doing a sneak peek performance before the Terror Tuesday movie



10/16 Elysium- Dolls From the Crypt! Horror themed dance troupe (not burlesque, sorry no boobies!)
