I'm a newly launched one woman DIY business, specializing in Vintage Reproduction clothing from the 1930s-early 1960s for both pin-up queens and their crazy cat boyfriends.

I make everything by hand in my little studio, sewing machine on one side of me, monstrous stack of fabric, patterns and source books on the other.

Retro-Fitted combines my love of Vintage clothing with my love of sewing. RF started in earnest two years ago when I began doing custom pieces for close friends who couldn't find what they were looking for anywhere else.

I specialize in limited editions, one-offs and hard to find designs. My etsy.com site is newly launched.

I can't believe summer is already over. I'm not complaining about the cool breeze blowing across my studio right now, or the smell of roasting Hatch Chili in the air, mind you, but it is a little odd to be looking at cardigans and pants again. I keep logging in and thinking "I should up date this, these people are gonna think I fell off the face of the earth".. Then I look at the pile of as-yet-to-be photographed inventory in my closet, roll my eyes, bang my head into the wall and log off.

I'm sitting here in a mountain of packing boxes procrastinating.



Watching it rain and grumbling, because Lone Star Round-Up starts today and I don't want to trudge around in the muck to go look at beautiful hot rods.



Trying to decide what I should keep with me and what I can put in my storage space.

New Halter Tops!!

I've become addicted to making these cute little numbers.





They are actually the top half of a 1940s play-suit. At some point I'll make an entire play-suit, I promise. But right now, these have stolen my heart and are helping clean out some of my really cute material.
