- I've always been attracted to all things retro. If it's from the 1940's to the 1970's, I want to own/do/be it!
- Tell us a little about yourself! (details or get declined)
- For as long as I can remember I've been very drawn to retro things. Furniture, clothing, advertisements, books, hairstyles, etc. Last year I revamped my living room into a 60s modern retro theme and its beginning to creep into my whole house. Last week I finally discovered the whole Pinup girl lifestyle, watched some videos on youtube, and fell in love. I'm converting, I thought. I dyed and cut my hair, got a mani pedi, bought some new makeup, and tons of hair supplies, and set to work practicing in front of the mirror. It's amazing how much confidence I feel when all made up, compared to how I felt, even all fixed up in my old [lack of] style. It will take time to build up my wardrobe how I'd like, but for now at least I have the mindset and the hair and makeup to match. I look forward to learning more from the members here.
