- Annie Cherry is a singing, dancing, sassing ecdysiast, bringing her unique combination of wit, song, and sparkles to audiences across the country. Annie is a former member of Kansas City's FIRST neo-burlesque troupe, The Burly-Q Girly Crew, joining in 2005. In 2006, still fresh to the burlesque scene, she was featured in the monthly burlesque dinner show Etta Vendetta's Eyeful Tower. In 2007 and 2008 Annie produced Annie Cherry Presents: Hurly Burly, a wildly successful pro-am variety show featuring students of her Burlesque and the Art of the Tease class. All this, while Annie was also performing at various events across Kansas City, including the Priests of Pallas Ball at Union Station and KC Fringe Festival 2007, 2008, and 2009 (soon to be 2010). In late 2008 she took her act all the way to New York to perform at legendary Coney Island. Since then she, and her partner in crime Mr. Artemus Vulgaris, have performed in countless shows from KC to NY as independent performers, as well as with their troupe, The Kansas City Society of Burlesque. KCSOB for short! Annie and Arty are available for events together or separately... They entertain, sing dance, emcee, promote, organize, and pose, according to your needs.
