Mad Men and Carnivale are my two favorite series. The costuming, set design, and overall atmosphere of both are so well done that it really draws you in.

The biggest impacts that I can think of from the movie side would probably have to be Grease and the Indiana Jones series. WWII era adventurer with a great hat? Where can I sign up for that job?

I really love those few episodes of That 70's Show when they flashback to Kitty when she's younger. There's a few of them if I remember corrently. One about when Kitty and Red first meet at a U.S.O. Dance, another about Kitty and her sister at prom, and theres another one, but I can't really remember what it's about. Lol. But yeah... Love those episodes :)
