So, I really need a hobby. Some people play sports, roller derby, skateboard, kick boxing, dancing, and so on. I wanna know what you ladies do? (That makes you get in shape and/or lose weight) I'm sick of being a couch potato I need to do SOMETHING! :)

've been riding horses for 30+ years and I pole dance, not in a strip club (not that there is anything wrong with that) but for fun and fitness. I also do Aerial hammock and want to start working with Lyra. Hammock, Lyra and pole are all things I can perform with burlesque style. I also start my day off with either Jillian's 30 day shred or ripped in 30, both good 20 minute workouts that you can make harder with getting deeper into the movement and  using heavier weights. I'm wanting to add a better stretching program, I miss my silks teacher he did great stretches and heavy ab work.

Well I don't do it lately because of a recent injury, I still cannot walk right. But when I am up and around and can do it, I really like belly dancing and hula. Both great workouts! Both fun!
I play ice hockey on a summer league here in Texas, keeps me cool! :)
Hula hooping and going to the gym. I'm a total gym rat, I love it. And I hoop at home when I'm bored or watching tv, it's really good for your core. I want to get into pole dancing (I haven't done it since I was a stripper) but I loved it then, and it was a great work out.
I take my dogs running, I do anything with them and usually they keep me on my toes.  I have tiny dogs but they run like little rockets, and it is free.  The only hard part is when the weather is bad, like it has been monsooning in the midwest for the past 3 weeks so I have been kind of lazy too.  Also my job keeps me more in shape, I manage a restaurant so I sit down for about 30 minutes out of my 10 hour shift.  Good luck lady!
I'm BIG into running and yoga. Although I am seriously considering pole dancing reading this stuff!
Bike riding and definitely dancing. Just putting on some tunes and dancing in my living room, quite the workout and stress reliever!

Oooo I am going to have to get into this pole dancing thing!! I think my hubby would appreciate the new moves when he gets back from afghanistan :D

I LOVE to ZUMBA!!! It's fun :D and it works! :D

I do swing dancing and learning lindy hop, it keeps you relatively fit! That and walking!!! You can never go wrong with walking or riding a bicycle!

Man..sucks that I live in Northern California. But I have been considering pole dancing for a while but I'm been a big chicken! (more like insecurity issues) lol I have seen online a couple San Francisco studios I might just have to check out. The shoes are cute too but I feel like I would fall straight on my face too. Practice makes for perfect right? :)

Thanks Sarah!

Aerial hammock looks difficult and never really thought of it as a work out. I know when I would watch P!NK (the singer) perform on TV she does that and it's always amazing how talented she is and she does have an awesome body! Also, it's something different compared to your typically working out routine. Also, seems like a great way to make friends.

Thanks Miss Naughty!
