Guest Poet Wedding Fundraiser

Gaylene is one of my guest poets and very dearest friends.  She has, quite frankly, been through more than most people ever even read about in their lives, much less are expected to survive.  Some of her story can be read through her poetry, both on my website and on her blog.  As for the rest, I'll just say that surviving breast cancer only fell on the tough end of the middle in the big picture of what she's dealt with and managed to come through with her sweetness, optimism and generosity of spirit still intact.

 

The wonderful news is that Gaylene is getting married in November.  The not-so-wonderful news is that, during the recent storms in AZ, her home was struck by lightning, resulting in roof and electrical damage that necessitated already limited funds being diverted from the wedding.

 

We're trying to make up the difference, and you can help.  From now until October 31st, ALL PROCEEDS from the Poetic Pinup CafePress shop will be donated to Gaylene's wedding fund.  We've recently added almost 1,000 new items, including the Pinupilicious Vol. 2 2012 Calendar, 7 new designs in Vintage Erotica, new posters, new journals, and the reopening of the Alternative Halloween Costume Section.
