BECAUSE PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW...A NOTE FROM THE MODEL JASMIN NATERA AND THE PHOTOGRAPHER JOHN H. HOLLIS IV:

We are Naturalists, No-Blow-Up-Doll look WHEN IT COMES TO Fashion, Glamour, Pin-Ups, or Nudes. We use different positions based on Geometric Structures, Symmetry, and Color Codes, using as little lighting, photo studio techniques, and Pre-or-Post Production Jazzing as humanely possible, and still be able turn out a Strong Piece. (A Natural Photo, With a Naturally Beautiful Model). It is very, very difficult to accomplish that...We feel, often more difficult than using mathematical electronic equations, half-a-ton of studio peripheral equipment, lighting, pre-fixed and frozen Studio Notions, as to what Photo Fashion, Glamour, Pin-Up, and Nude Photography is…and that is why I like the Natural Look of PINUP Lifestyles. Everybody here on PINUP Lifestyles does really cool work, their own thing, and doesn’t Slam anybody…my kind of people; as I do a lot of different Modern Interpretations of True Classic Pin-Up Work that are my own Concepts.

You cannot make a woman more beautiful than she is...no matter how hard you try...you are just jazzing up the photo to make a startling image. It leaves the model nowhere, as she will never, ever look that beautiful again in her entire life; to me it is a destructive art, not constructive art. These are just a few of My Own Philosophies reference Modern Fashion, Glamour, Nudes and Pin-Up Art...women do not walk the modern Cat-Walk way, few women act like that, and even less truly want to be like that...they do however wish to be beautiful; and they are truly beautiful; just presented and being natural. The 40’s, 50’s, & 60’s Pin-Up Art and Photography Show exactly that…Women being Sexy and Beautiful Naturally, just being themselves.

Thankfully that is where PINUP Lifestyle comes in; what a lovely and wonderful group of people being themselves naturally; from Models to Photographers. In the Real World there are Shadows and Sun that Play across the Face and Body, some good, some bad, but that is nature, and I and my Photographer, John H. Hollis IV, do not wish to change or rearrange it. If I place a Photo here on PINUP, it is because I personally like it with all of its natural defects, and (0) Zero Pre-or-Post Editing, nothing more, and nothing less; unless it is Multi-Media Photographic Work. For example, If a Strobe Light on my hair, makes my hair look like shiny diamonds, well that is what the sun does, and the Photo was chosen purposely to be that way. I don't display mistakes, I display what I like. Art is in the Eye-of-the-Beholder, not the Art Critic.

I belong to over 50 different Social Modeling Related Networks, and I have to say that this is the most laid back, normal, decent, and kind group of Artists, Models, and Photographers that I have seen anywhere on the Internet…Kudos go to all of you Way Cool Girls and Guys of PINUP Lifestyle!!!
