[Lotta Moxie]

I got a lot of work done on lottamoxie.com last night. I finally got the layout and design how I want it and everything working. The little twitter widget is cool. I put it on my profile here too. It's TwitPress. TwitMe didn't work for me but TwitPress was great when I used my email and not my log in name. I dig it.

I am so bad with weblogs and my own personal websites. I have them like I have frocks. I re-invent my blogs and personal pages as often as I dye my hair. It's bad. I swear I collect them. I'm going to TRY and keep this one as the main hub and connect it to all of the other sites I am on. I've never done that before. I've sort of posted everywhere all the time which is fun, but hectic, and I don't really have the time for all of that. I like this website (PL) a lot because it's dedicated just to this sort of lifestyle and then I can use my main website to connect to all of the other social websites I am on and ping bloggers etc.

It may sound pretty lame I guess but I've been in marketing and advertising so long that I think about branding and function even on a personal level. I think it is important. I am really trying to streamline my own web presence and usage the same way I would for any of my business clients. I think it will help.

Despite my earlier f****** off this week I got a lot done. I finished up my profile and design here at PL. I spent some time on lottamoxie.com today. I opened up facebook, myspace, fetlife and twitter for the big domain. I have all of those already but not as Lotta. Under my birth name which I think I will keep for the family and school chums and what have you that don't dig all of the other things I am into. Some of the work I get as a freelance artist is adult or semi-adult and I don't think mom and pop like seeing it. It will be nice to have a little 'personal space' as it were for my work, my pinup stuff, and ya know, fun.

I managed a good bit of the work for starphonesex.com. It may not look like it but that install was a beast. I couldn't get anything to work right. I finally figured it out and teased the code into doing what I wanted. I edited, lord, probably 400 photos. Created their custom graphics and logo.

I even did the voice-over for their front page. Little known fact about Lotta: I used to be a radio DJ. Yep. I have a lot of experience with voice-over work, radio and sound advertisement, as well as production. Thanks to my radio work I have my own studio stuff, so not only am I a graphic and web development guru, I'm pretty much an all around self-contained marketing machine. The best was the take I did where I didn't close the studio door and the cat came in to hoark (that's actually a word, I looked it up.) up a hairball mid script. I shoud have saved that one.

I am pretty pleased with the final product and so was the client. I have to do another one for their fetish related site where it will be more Dominant bondage based. I haven't got the script from them for that one yet. That should be a hoot. I love my job LOL.

Anyway, yeah. Pretty pleased with all I got finished in addition to several parties and all the holiday family stuff. I did *not* however get my hair done or the photos of that dress taken. That is on the agenda. I'm also going to try and flesh out the moxie social pages on the various sites and finish up Star before the early week. I would like to be completely finished with it by Friday so I can start on the next project. Not to mention a photoshoot this weekend. I think Sunday I will do nothing but sleep.
