Shoot Ideas

I thought I'd blog a little about my shoot ideas that haven't made it to the studio yet! I am hoping to have a new shoot done this weekend, with my new studio portrait lights! It involves a bathtub, so pray that I don't get electrocuted!

I have always dreamed of recreating my favourite Gil Elvgren painting, but need to find that perfect alligator!

Another great redheaded painting from the master that I'd love to recreate is this one:

Which would be relatively easy! The problem with tribute shots, is that the photographer isn't always keen to do it, and wouldn't pay as much attention to detail as I would. But it's always in the back of my mind!


Some other ideas I have, are:
- pulp comic space woman - complete with ray gun! Once I can make the raygun, this one will happen for sure! I have a gold one piece bathing suit and I will find some gold shoes to match.
- cowgirl - fence, frilly skirt, the works
- hanging out to dry! - Have a set where I've fallen into a lake/pond and have climbed out to hang my delicates on a line, which hide certain areas :)


That's about it for now. I get bored with the traditional plain background photos, so it's nice having ideas like this to inspire me to continue modeling. Small goals!
