Are you a model in the Pittsburgh area? If so there is a special group just for you on deviantart.com

Deviantart.com is a website dedicated to artists and art lovers.

There are lots of different artists, models, photographers, and fans who use deviant art. It is definitely a good way to get "seen". Lovers of the arts can browse through different models' and photographers' images. They can even "Fave" images and add them and advertise them for you.

To use deviant art, one must register for an account, but there are free accounts. The free accounts are also useful.

Models and photographers can post their pictures. There isn't a lot of censorship (nudity is allowed).

Once you register for a deviant art account, make sure you check out the Pittsburgh models group.

This group is setup to showcase Pittsburgh area models who are on Deviant Art. Anyone can "watch" this group to keep up with the models in the Pittsburgh area. Photographers can check out models they might want to work with; Fans can get updated on their favorite model's new work.

If you are a model in the Pittsburgh area and set up a Deviant Art account, you can apply to join the group. Members of the group can submit photos. We hope to have a busy group. There is a place for blogs and we hope to place information that might be pertinent to models in Pittsburgh.
