Our Lovely Miss Bettie Page died tonight!

I'm in shock & have been sitting at my computer with chills running down my spine ever since I received the news of Bettie's death. I'm staring at the computer screen as one after another the e-mails pop up on the BP fansite from fans all over the world that are already mourning this legend's passing. She has been suffering since last year & as her health deteriorated, she fought & truly showed us how tough she was! The Queen of Curves has always been my favorite pin-up & her photos grace my walls in every room. I have had the honor of sending her hand-made gifts, cards telling her how special & loved she is & cds of her favorite music...Big Band. Steve Brewster, a dear friend & the owner of her official fansite, has made that possible. This lady will always hold a special place in my heart because in my opinion she was MAGIC! She can now find her true peace in Heaven, where she truly belongs. We'll miss you Bettie Page!!
