my weekend

i had a great time. we eneded up staying for 4 days and 3 nights for my boyfriends family reunion! it was so much fun!! the first night when i got there we all went out to my favorite restaraunt to meet up with the rest of his family. it was a short and sweet meal (that i enjoyed not having to pay for since it would have been expensive ^_~) then we went back to the hotel room, where only a few stragglers decided they wanted to join us (last year the room was packed, i much perfer the smaller croud this year.) at 1:30 AM they decided they should go after a bit of prodding from my boyfriends dad when he started gathering together the garbage. i slept in the bedroom with his grandma and he slept in the livingroom with his dad. the next day we hung out at the mall since his dad was going to run errands and his grandma had a funeral to go to. it was a great night though when she got back because we stayed up just as late talking about her life when she was little. its nice for me because the grandmother i was really close to passed when i was a little girl and i never really got to get to know her that well because i was so young and never thought about what i would have wanted to know. his grandma grew up in a similar area in similar conditions and is a lot like my family, (most of which on that side have died). i really get to get closer to feeling like i have that part of my life back so it was a great treat getting that time with her!!! then the next day i got to go shopping with her and my boyfriend. it was so much fun she said that we're "her new favorite people" =) we topped that night off with dropping her off and watching a movie with his dad, who i don't spend a ton of time with. i had so much fun and it really was a well needed break!!

but i gotta say i did miss all the guys and gals here on PL!! and i'm glad to be home =)
