I'm not really opposed to cannibalism. Not really. Since it's recycling, and would help cut down on the number of burping, farting, and rutting people on the planet I feel that it's not a bad option. A way to create a new natural resource rather than try to sustain the breed which depleting others with overpopulation. Since a lot of cattle tend to eat recycled cow bits (hence Mad Cow Disease) I see that humans are already comfortable with the idea. I am, however, in the minority.
So in order to both slake my hunger for art and actual food, I have found my favorite little restaurant hideaway that celebrities visiting Vancouver have yet to descend upon, thank god. It' by Stamps Landing and it's called Brahmas. Ever notice that there's a great place to eat and it's nice and quiet... then some selfish A-list celebrity will be seen making out with someone there and all of a sudden it's the new hot spot? Believe me, it's total balls. So, if you can help me keep this secret from Hollywood, I'd appreciate it. The food is amazing, the owners kind and fussing towards their guests (and you feel like guests, not customers, which I like) and the brunch is so good it brings tears of joy to my eyes. I would plunge a dagger in my own thigh for a Sunday morning with the view there, eating the wild mushroom eggs benny.
But back to the cannibalism thing... We have too a new movie coming out, being released in installations on the internet. It's titled Grilling Bobby Hicks, which is what puts me in mind of the people eating people. I only really know about it, since they use some of Big John Bates' music for the soundtrack. However, since I am keen to find out about it, I guess I'll have to tune in and see if I can pick up any cooking tips...
If you want to watch too, be sure to tune in here...
Ciao!
