Miss Vintage NZ 2012

I'm very excited to be chosen as a contestant in the Miss Vintage NZ this year to be held in April at the Very Vintage day out.This is my first competition I have entered and as part of the application you had to answer a series of questions, submit a video entry and a vintage style photo. Here is my entry:

 

 

What does being a pinup mean to you?

"I feel that a being pin up is a celebration of the essence of being a woman. A pinup is a role model to those around them, promoting self confidence, self love and celebrating what makes you unique. To me being a pin up also encompasses the lifestyle, surrounding and incorporating the style of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s around me through my personal image, music and my home."

The judges are taking 8 finalists from each region, so that is two from each region and our region than now has 3 entrants. Finalists can secure a wild card entrant chosen by the public and measured by "likes" on the contestants.
