"We Are The New Vintage"
Enhance your favorite room to reflect your personal tastes and serve as inspirations with sideshow and tattoo themed items!
With all the talk I see going on about face tattoos, I decided to write an article that features several individuals who took their modified bodies and put them on display for the public. While I am sure he was not the first person to have have a facial tattoo, Captain Constentenus had extensively detailed images on his face as early as the 1870’s. He is also noted as being the first to have a full body tattoo, the elaborate work considered to be done by masters of their craft, which earned him much respect among artists. None of these people were forced to go under the needle despite what their elaborate origin stories may have claimed, and each of them chose to become an exhibit. Their names have become synonymous with both tattoo and sideshow history, which is something I always like to note because of how closely the two cultures are tied, and serve as inspiration in many ways.
Citing inspiration from Johnny Cash, Back 2 Blackis a style guide filled with anything but basic black shoes. Featuring futuristic styles by Jeffrey Campbell, Betsey Johnson, Ed Hardy and more, find out why black is not just for goths any more.
