'Aesthetic Evolution' - Press Release/Cover Preview

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude towards Jason Wymbs for having assisted with coordinating a release party for the first issue of Aesthetic Evolution last month. Due to financial difficulties, we were not able to have the event, and subsequently the release date was pushed back.

There has been a lot of time, effort and work put into this magazine by our esteemed colleague Lenore Lovelace, who has used every bit of her artistic and writing ability to create what is hoped to be a truly unique publication. The focus is on education of the masses about why individuals chose to modify their bodies, with a focus on portraying women as more than just another 'alternative' porn model. With blatantly honest editorials, riveting interviews and a variety of other articles that are juxtaposed with highly detailed imagery, Aesthetic Evolution sets the pace for itself and is ready to launch the new revolution of body modification.

It has come to our attention that there are people awaiting the release of Issue 1, and we would love nothing more than to put this in the hands of those who will enjoy it the most. However, being a DIY based company, we are extremely limited in funding and have encountered one astronomical price tag after another when inquiring about printing the magazine.

Also, we have been doing everything in our power to arrange a proper release party, and again have only been met with one obstacle after another. If there is anyone who can offer a venue or volunteer to assist us with this matter, please get in touch with us. When all else fails, the magazine will be launched on-line upon completion.

We would like to thank all of the individuals who gave of themselves in order to make this premiere issue into a reality. It is your stories and photos that will hopefully reach the eyes and ears of people all over the world, to show that while we may come from different walks of life and have our own reasons for modifying our bodies, we are indeed a global community.
