Traveling once again

I've been so out of touch in here....I'm in Miami at the moment, and I wanted to catch everyone up on what's happening. I had a couple huge orders followed by a severe lack in manufacturing capacity...a definite novice mistake. I've taken some time from filling orders and put it into researching the fulfillment end....something I hope will pay off for us and our customers.

BACK FROM MIAMI!

I just got home from Miami, where I'm originally from. I had a great time. I'll be going back a few more times this year...big things in the works (I hope) I look forward to meeting all of you at MIDNIGHT MASS. I'll have a couple Garter flasks with me so those of you that have been asking can see them in person. I hope you love them as much as I do! See you all Saturday!

I've never been so busy!

I just wanted to thank everyone here...you've all been so supportive and helpful! I've been blessed with a big following, but I have to say that has alot to do with my perfectionism, and that of my seamstress, in only putting out the very best product above all else. I will try to get caught up here at PL over this weekend, and get some photos of the new garter flasks up. AND thank you for allowing me to provide you with a very ladylike way to have a little 'nip'...lol.....

E-Commerce

I'll have a new set of Garter Flasks out and available by the end of next week. I found some lovely and delicate vintage lace pieces that will soften the 'tough' idea of the flasks... hope everyone likes them...

Meanwhile, I'm trying to find a good e-commerce site...the webpage I would like will have to wait for now ($$$!) If anyone has any ideas, please let me know :)

Unbridled, wild passion

A little update on where I am with the Ava Garters company...



I am absolutely crazy for what I'm doing right now. I feel a tremendous sense of satisfaction...going out of my way to find just the right fabric, hunting down vintage trims, pre/post-war lace...watching it all come together to grace the leg of some gorgeous dame.

Heaven Bound: Bettie Page

This last weekend, Michael and I flew down to SoCal for the closing party of Heaven Bound: Bettie Page at the World of Wonder Gallery in Hollywood. I had the opportunity to meet artist Olivia for the first time...Michael has met her on numerous occasions over the years...She was so gracious, not to mention an exceptionally beautiful woman! I've fallen in love with several of her pieces. I've decided to cut myself off shoes until I can afford one...~giggles~

Starting my Online Business

I have always loved designing...I worked with many amazing designers in South Beach for a number of years. I decided to venture out on my own, solely for the purpose of expression...passion....
