- I have been a fan for awhile of this era and idea, but recently got lucky enough to sit for a photo contest for Glamour Shots where I fell in love with the style of these pinup girls. I just became a member of a local Bomber & Betties club where I can give back to the local Veterans which means a lot to me since they have given so much to our country. A little about myself. I am retiring from the Navy this month after almost 15 years and have 3 wonderful children. Most of my time is spent with them, being on the Board of Directors for a local soccer club, or going after my second degree in Nursing. I am looking forward to working on some projects as a local Bettie.
