What creative phrase would you use to describe your style?
Classic and fun Makeup and Hair artist who does some modeling on the side.
Tell us a little about yourself! (details or get declined)
Started working for a large corporate makeup company at the tender age of 17. Sold moisturizer to women before I knew what wrinkles were and applied makeup on everyone I could get to sit in my chair. What a great education! Fragrance modeled for Ralph Lauren through college. Was part of the first team to bring a MAC cosmetics counter to Charleston in 2000 and loved working with their amazing products. Moved to DC and got involved with theatre, opera makeup and wig design. Apprenticed under the most amazing Wig & Makeup Artist at the Baltimore Lyric Opera House, Cindy Ludwig. Started doing weddings and photo shoots with friends and photographers and my career took off from there. I love making other women feel beautiful through makeup and hair. I like to think I help bring their inner beauty out and help them to express the beauty they feel about themselves through applying makeup and doing their hair for all events, special occasions, weddings, photos and runway. I model on the side for the fun of it, for photographer friends and to try out new looks. It helps me understand more fully what it's like under those hot lights. : ) I am also a kick ass roller derby diva for the Lowcountry Highrollers. Lucille Balls to the Wall is my derby name.
