The roots of my interest in pinup began with punk music and old movies. From punk I moved to psychobilly, then rockabilly, then vintage, and from old movies I found love for performing, then vintage. I love the way pinup is suggestively sexy, a quality I feel empowers women to be sexual on their own terms, and a quality I feel we've lost in our popular culture.
