Roxxxie Boom Boom and Doubledown Dixie of Red Light Burlesque (www.myspace.com/redlightburlesque) bring their 13 years of burlesque experience to you in a series of workshops from our Burlesque 101 crash course to our 6 week comprehensive, build your burlesque character/number workshop! We are passionate about bringing this art form and the confidence that it builds to women of all ages, shapes, colors and sizes. Feeling sexy, confident and glamorous is something every woman deserves. We focus on classic techniques, positive body image and shake it all up in a laid back, supportive atmosphere that feels more like a party with your gal pals than a class. Join us for the fun! Our premiere workshop, Burlesque 101, gives you all the building blocks you need to walk away and make your own burlyq magic happen! It includes costuming/performance/tassel twirling basics, burlesque history, techniques for building self confidence, and two short choreographed routines!
