Like to take the classics to a dark room and have my way with them.

I am a Scots artist and stopmotion animator. I live and breathe vintage glamour and am fortunate to be able to finance my darker side (the animation films) with my passion for classic pinup girl art. I love the tension between the sweetness and beauty of my ladies and the twisted beauty of my puppets. I favour a 1930s/40s look most of the time, though it does go a bit 50s when riding motorcycles...cuz..well obviously

My most recent stopmotion film..Jack and Jill, a wicked tale



Ive been told this piece starts a new genre "goth puppet porn". That sounds a bit silly to me but I do love it deeply, even though it took a year from me and added to my grey hairs.
It is the first in a series of short films exploring the idea of purity vs innocence. The next will be a while though as I am waiting to get into my new studio.
