My Name is Kirt Pettey. I am co owner and digital artist for Painted Pinups a pinup photography
studio out of Orange County. My partner and photographer is Chad Scott whom I have been in this business with for almost three years. What sets us a part from other studios is what we like to call the “Painted” look. This is when we take a pic from the shoot and I transform it to look like an actual Painted Pinup that you would have seen in the 1940's. Our stuff is never raunchy or vulgar.
It is a throw back to a much more innocent time that I feel is mostly captured in the films and artwork of the area. We have no problem shooting nude or implied nude but will never ask or pressure the model to do so. It is very important to us both that everyone we shoot with is comfortable and has a great time.

THE HARBOUR CITY ROLLERS NEED TO FIND THEIR PERFECT LOGO!
We are looking for some talented people to design the perfect logo for our derby team, so we're holding a logo contest! The person who designs the chosen logo will get a hoodie with their logo on it to wear with pride! Deadline is January 15th, 2011. Here are ...the rules:

•Logo should work easily in any scale.
•All designs should have no more than four colors.
•If your design contains color, you must submit two versions: one in full color and one in black and white.
•All submissions should include a distinctive typeface (of your own design or a particular font) that we can use with or without the logo.
