Hey - I joined because I love vintage and pin-up.
I'm a music journalist but I love posing in my free time for snaps.
I have a good vintage wardrobe and am a dab hand at old style make up too.

I pretty much retired from photography 18 months ago. My style just wasnt attracting enough Brit pin up girls with the 'bad girl' attitude I needed to recreate the sort of image seen in 50's period men's magazines. Most like the glossy cheesecake that Terry captures so well to the my more sleazy take on pin up.

The only good thing about a visit to Ikea is the Swedish meatballs and Daim(?) bars. I went there two weeks ago to get a bookcase and was annoyed with the number of large families using it as and excuse for a leisurely day out. If you get stuck behind slow moving browsers it becomes a nightmare.

You are brave. I couldnt face Ikea on a Saturday or Sunday. Take head ache pills and a bottle of water. That store drains the life force from me as soon as I go through the revolving doors.

If the weather improves today, I have some new chrome bumper covers to put on my motorbike. Started off the weekend in style after seeing Buddy Greco who is the last surviving member of the vintage Vegas era Rat Pack. His wife does a mean Peggy Lee and she sang a few classic numbers with him. Totally class couple. How is your weekend fixed?
