Thanks for viewing my profile! My name is Vince. I'm a p/t photographer/artist in the New York area. These days I shoot mostly digital. I try and emulate classic pinup photos from the past in my lighting and post production treatment. In addition, I also love to paint posters. I do this because it is fun and a creative outlet for me. I love to work in series, rather than just shots. I usually have a theme or a concept for the images that I make. I also really love it when I have an enthusiastic model with ideas that we can collaborate together on. That is when many great images are made. If you like what you see, please, feel free to drop me a line and maybe we can work something out.
Classic pinup is one of my main interests as far as subject matter goes. I love the paintings of Gil Elvgren and Alberto Vargas. I love the minimalist compositions and the clean lines of this classic genre. I try and capture this in my work but with a modern twist. I also love the old Hollywood still images that the studios produced for their stars. On the other end of the spectrum I love punk culture and modern punk/Goth looks as well, even fetish images.
I have worked with many models in the New York area. I do offer TFP with select models. I can help to develop portfolios and offer very reasonable rates.
