I have been a wedding photographer for 10 years and am interested in creating a new fashion and beauty website and just began this exploration when I discovered your site. I love it. Thanks for the inspiration. I am definitely interested in testing with anyone interested.
How did you find PL? (Who referred you?, What site was the link on? What keywords did you search?) Be detailed, It helps us advertise and thank people!
PL is coming out in style and force at Disney's Rock Around the Park. We would love to have you join us! It'll be a great chance to hang with old friends and make new ones. All the information is under the link. Hope to see you there!

Hey there darlin', the Road Zombies BBQ is in Santa Clara tomorrow and a bunch of us are attending. It would be great to meet you if you can make it. More info can be found in the CA section of the forum, check it out! Hope to see you there.
I try to shoot weekly. Bobbi is out of town and I hadn't shot for a couple weeks so went down to my car lot and shot some Saturday 1. To stay sharp 2. It was a great day for filtered light 3. I'm bartering with them so it's always good to keep my balance up so to speak.
Some of my best marketing images are from when I had 3 TFP gals in on one day. It's nice to shoot exactly what I want and only what I want occasionally and have full releases to the images. It was a good learning experience as well as I tried out several techniques I'd been curious about. It's hard to experiment much during a paid shoot.
The real reason I started shooting pin-up is because of Bobbi. I was a published landscape guy and when that started losing it flair I did the Model Mayhem TFP thing to learn studio lighting. I liked it and did lots of glamor stuff but when I crossed paths with her, her passion for the genre', her thousands pf vintage dresses and her ability to do hair and make-up...well, the rest is history. Having the right people on your team is key. My relationships with classic car dealers and antique business owners is pretty important to make my offerings unique as well.
