Roo LaLa has been dancing in the Houston area for more than 20 years. She is classically trained in tap, ballet, modern, jazz & musical theater. She was a member of the Texas Tap Ensemble for 11 years under the guidance of choreographer Paula Sloan & is a graduate of The High School for the Performing & Visual Arts. She has had the privilege of performing with The Houston Symphony, Theater Under The Stars, The Galveston Outdoor Musicals & The Houston International Festival. She has had the honor of touring Austria to perform in the Young! Tanzsommer Dance Festival as well as a featured dancer at Epcot in Disney World.

In 2011 Roo joined the Houston Burlesque Revue venturing into a new aspect of her dance career. This one of a kind troupe comprised of classically trained dancers and singers present all styles of dance combining elements of classic and Neo burlesque entertainment, humor and glamour making the Houston Burlesque Revue the premier group of entertainers in The Bayou City!


Roo LaLa is also a proud member of the Benefit Betties- a Houston Based Organization dedicated to giving back to our community and country through various charitable activities.
