I have always adored clothes and began designing and making unique items while I was still at school. Actually it started in primary school when I made doll's clothes from the scraps of fabric left over from my mother's sewing projects. Much later on in life I worked at a theatrical costumiers making lovely sparkly costumes. I loved the costumes we made for Christmas pantos, with all the gold braid and fancy fabrics. Lovely!

After university I spent many years working in IT. Now I've gone full circle and back to my lovely sewing machine, cooking up some gorgeous items. I hope to launch my own label later this year.... a childhood dream.

I am totally besotted with anything burlesque!! So much so, I started an online boutique selling burlesque style clothes: www.loveburlesque.com. It's only been online a couple of months, so there are still a lot of items to be added.... and of course my own label in a few weeks.

I also volunteer my time to raise funds for an orphanage in Uganda. I built and maintain their website (http://www.mercyline.org), and I actively raise funds online, to pay for food and shelter for children that would otherwise be on the streets. I also sponsor a 13 year old child at the orphanage, who's name is Ivan. As a mother I love teaching my own children social values like this.
