Hello, I hope you don't mind me writing to you but YOU SOUND SO MUCH LIKE ME! I was very much born into the wrong era.

So if you fancy a natter, it's very nice to meet you :) I'm Sunshine x

I would love that too! It doesn't tend to be a common interest younger people have, hence my severe lack of friends really, I just seem to live in a world of acquaintances!

I would love to try burlesque but I'm not body confident enough yet. But, I've recently started bellydancing classes and the woman who does them is great, and she does burlesque classes too. My self-confidence has definitely improved loads since starting with her, so who knows, maybe one day I shall try it out :) I'd love to go to a good burlesque show though, that's something I've never done.

That's the same reason I love the 40s/50s Pin Up style; it's the idea that a woman is sexy purely from the implication, and the cheekiness. It's wonderful, and so feminine. I hate seeing girls in skin tight belt-length skirts and dress. It's not sexy, it just looks "easy". It upsets me really, but, hey, that's what people want to do.

Johnny Cash and Frank Sinatra are my gods and I love Jazz, Swing and Big Band. Not solely, don't get me wrong I'm a big Clash fan, and Sex Pistols, I like The Smiths, Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, The Jam, a bit of everything really. But I love live music, and would love one weekend to just go down to London and go round all the Jazz clubs and Rockabilly clubs. That would be great.

I also started Lindy Hop recently! I've started all these dance classes and have no natural dance ability :p but I'm really enjoying it. And, in the real world, I'm a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School :).

So anyway, sorry to waffle on, what do you do with your time? x

Hiya, not bad thankyou, you okay? Have you started any burlesque classes or anything? x
