New psychedelic art!





Whew!! Here's some of my 2d, still art! A pencil drawing called 'my religion' which I drew recently in light of my health problems compounding finding meaning in my life.
  A color, traditional/digital mix of a young Michael Jackson which I made for an unfinished project earlier this year. I separated it and cleaned it up the day he died. He was influential to me growing up, but he continue's to be a huge inspiration to me due to his humanitarianism and his ability to project and materialize his own personal reality onto everyone else's. He had the confidence and knowledge to shamelessly play in front of us all and show us how it was done. 
I also enjoy bringing him up because he is a complex character, or his story is, and people in modern society squirm when trying to classify something that is not just good or bad and I enjoy watching their discomfort. Soon the judgmental, black and white, me, me, me  world will have too adapt or die.  It must be a balance, we must  start realizing that we is me and vice versa and I can see this slowly happening in society.

Thanks Daniel! Yes its true many artists now charge for an apprenticeship. And its worth for a good one. But there are still artists who will apprentice someone the old fashioned way, just expect to be their b**** during your apprenticeship! :) As for the snobbiness - we're not all snobs either. But it's a growing industry and more and more people want in, so I think its natural for some artists to get a bit protective of their trade. Best of luck. :)
