I adore pin-up and burlesque. I am in the process of inventing my pin-up persona and finding my feet in this fabulous world.

    Manda, you have curves and can fill out a dress--I'm jealous!  I lost a lot of weight and am now too skinny to look good in pinup--it limits the looks I can pull off.  I just e-mailed a friend on this size/weight issue and suggested she keep her weight but work on her legs to get leg/calf definition--something I need to do.  I've been studying pinup photos lately and taking mental notes of what will work for me in terms of outfits & poses (I save good ideas to my photo file for reference.)  I'm noticing that no model is perfect, but the good ones play up their assets and figure a way to camouflage what they like less.  A challenge for everybody, I think.  ;)
