I believe women in the 20's through 50's era were more about femininity and more detailed as in the clothes, hair and makeup.My mom would watch classic movies for example Lucille Ball, Dorothy Dandridge , even Carmen Miranda.My mom would point out the detailing in their clothes and hair and makeup and I instantly fell in love and knew I wanted to look like that when I grew up.
