My name is Miss. Aften Willcuts and I love all things weird and unusual. I create obscure art for obscure people.
I have been a professional tattoo artist for the past 7 years, recently falling more and more in love with painting. I am currently a working tattoo artist at Spyder Rose tattoo studio as well as a commissioned painter, muralist, multi-tasker. As a tattooist I have been trained to listen and observe to the little details a person wants in a custom piece of art, adorn on their bodies or the walls of their home. I started these portraits on accident, not knowing they would become my most sought after pieces.
Most of my art is Era inspired, meaning I use a lot of elements of design and textiles from different time periods. Sometimes it can be a small flower in a beautiful art nouveau painting or an ornamental gate in an old cemetery. My paintings can range from simplistic and elegant, bohemian gypsy punk, macabre zombietastic to femme fetal pinup. These custom pieces are to encourage how you want to portray your fabulous self or the person you’re gifting it to in an offbeat beautifully obscure way.
